Road Closure in Eeyou Istchee Baie-James Region Due to Harsh Weather

Several key roads in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James region are currently closed indefinitely due to severe weather conditions. 

Complete Closures:

• Route 167 north of Chibougamau, between km 305 and km 553.
• Route du Nord, between km 0 and km 258.
• Route Billy-Diamond between km 0 and km 585.
• Access road to the communities of Waskaganish, Eastmain, Wemindji, and Chisasibi.
• Route 19900, between Lebel-sur-Quévillon and Matagami.
