The Youth Healing Administration is pleased to welcome Jeremiah Mianscum as the new Assistant Director – Youth Healing Services.
Jeremiah has held various positions with the Cree Board of Health, including management positions. Prior to his appointment as Assistant Director - Youth Healing Services, he served as a Youth Protection Worker, a NNADAP Worker, and a Community Worker Uschiniichisu.
In all of these roles, Jeremiah has demonstrated the ability to interact with sensitivity and respect with clients from diverse backgrounds. In performing his duties, his experience working in very challenging environments has always been a great asset.
Jeremiah has earned several certificates from McGill University in various areas including: organizational team leadership, health and social services evaluation, public finance and reporting, and building capacity in informal conflict resolution, to name a few.
Jeremiah will take up his position on September 18, 2023.
