FOOD RECALL: Various parfait and yogurt bowls recalled due to Salmonella

The affected products are being recalled from the marketplace due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The products are confirmed to be sold and distributed in Eeyou Istchee.
These products were made using granola recalled by Quaker Canada on January 11, 2024.

If you have any of these recalled products in your home:

Do not consume, use, sell, serve, or distribute recalled products. Throw them out.
Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you

sick.
Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune

systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections.
Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache,

vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Long-term complications may

include severe arthritis.
Contact your local CMC if you have eaten the recalled products and have gastro-like

symptoms.
Do not work with food if you are experiencing gastro-like symptoms, as the bacteria can

cross contaminate other foods and people.
Practice safe food handling and wash your hands often.
