Wemindji CMC staff receive holiday turkeys as a big 'thank you' for their work this year

CMC staff in Wemindji were gifted turkeys today. The Wemindji CMC Social Committee, along with management, provided the turkeys to all employees as a sign of appreciation for their hard work this year during COVID-19.
Each turkey had a “Thank you” note attached with the following message: “Thank you for all your hard work and dedication this year. May this Christmas and the coming new year bring happiness and health to you and your family.” The notes were signed by the Social Committee members and the management staff.
An innovative approach
The funds were raised with various activities. Staff members were asked to make a donation if they did not wear their masks according to protocol. This particular activity reinforced these important guidelines along with providing funds for a good cause.
