Miyupimaatisiiun Department welcomes Mary Longchap Semple, new Coordinator Awash & Uschiniichisuu at Waswanipi CMC
Mary holds a B.A in Social Work from Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) and is enrolled in the Talent Development Program, under the Cree Succession Leadership Framework, which aims to develop managerial skills through targeted training and development activities.
Mary has 13 years’ experience in social work. Previously, she worked as a social worker in the Awash and Uschiniichisuu departments, where she provided various types of support and services.
She joined the CBHSSJB in August 2001, holding several positions, including Emergency On-Call Worker for Social Services and Community Worker for the Homecare Program.
Mary started her new functions on October 12, 2021.
