Food Recall: Various Brands of Meat Products

Various brands of meat products are being recalled due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.
Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. No illnesses have been reported in connection with these products at the time of the recall.

What to do if you have these products:
- Check your refrigerator and freezer for any of the recalled meat products.
- Do not consume, serve, use, sell or distribute the recalled products.
- Throw the products away or return them to the place where they were purchased.
- Clean and sanitize any surfaces, containers or utensils that may have come into contact with the recalled products.
- If you think you became sick after consuming one of these products, contact your healthcare provider.
Symptoms
Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still cause illness.
Symptoms can include:
- Fever
- Muscle aches
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
Pregnant individuals, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems are at greater risk of serious illness.
In severe cases, listeriosis can lead to life-threatening infections. Symptoms can appear days or even weeks after consuming contaminated food.
