CBHSSJB is proud to announce the hiring of Arthur Thomas Hester as Coordinator of Wiichihiiwaauwin Emergency Steering Committee (WESC)
Mr. Hester recently concluded his second term on the CBHSSJB Board of Directors as the elected Community Representative for the Cree Nation of Waskaganish.
Before joining the CBHSSJB as a manager, A. Thomas Hester worked as Communications Officer for the Cree Nation of Waskaganish from 2018 to the present.
A. Thomas Hester served as Deputy Chief of the Cree Nation of Waskaganish from 2008 to 2017.
WESC is an internal committee of the Cree Health Board that was created to ensure coordinated planning and implementation of the psychosocial component of the organization’s COVID-19 pandemic plan, for both Eeyou Istchee’s population and CBHSSJB staff.
Mr. Hester joins the team of Taria Matoush, Assistant Executive Director for Pimuhteheu.
