CBHSSJB CELEBRATES PHARMACY TECHNICIAN DAY
The Cree Health Board is proud to acknowledge the dedicated work of our pharmacy technicians across Eeyou Istchee.
Pharmacy technicians are the backbone of our pharmacies in the CMCs and at the regional hospital, providing clients and healthcare professionals with medication and information that ensures the right doses are given at the right times. Our pharmacies couldn’t function without them!
“A writer is nothing without his/her pen, ideas prisoners of his/her mind. Alike, a pharmacist is nothing without the essential contribution of the pharmacy technical assistant. Our colleagues are an essential part of our team being responsible for ordering, handling preparing and dispensing the medications. They are also our eyes, ears and voice helping communicating important messages to our clients.
On this International Pharmacy Technician Day, I want to thank them for all their hard work and dedication. You are wonderful colleagues and I don’t know what we would do without you!” - Amélie Fortin, Chief Pharmacist
