Ashley Darbouze, Coordinator Elders Home Mistissini

Ashley is a registered nurse with DEC from Dawson College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria, she brings knowledge and practical expertise. She has worked in specialized areas such as Cardiac & Plastic Surgery, and liaison nursing, and has experience as a planning, programming, and research officer at the Cree Health Board, where she managed clinical projects.

Ashley has a strong background in coordinating and supervising clinical programs, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care. She has held significant responsibilities, including facilitating communication among stakeholders, managing clinical project systems, and supporting project management teams in securing funding and ensuring client needs are met.

Additionally, Ashley have a great experience working with elders. Some of her notable projects include:

  • Project Manager of Ashuukin Services
  • Commissioning Officer of the Home-Hemo Dialysis and Respiration Clinic Training Center
  • Elder’s Home MRD Contact and Clinical Project Manager

Ashley is passionate about delivering quality care and improving the health and well-being of those in her care.

In her new role, Ashley will coordinate and administrate all activities related to the elders' home, ensuring optimal, safe, and quality service delivery. She will lead the development and evaluation of clinical activities, manage resources, and collaborate with regional teams and external partners to enhance long-term care facilities.

She starts July 29th.
