What is the Bush Kit Program?

The Bush Kit program is designed to encourage traditional culture, promote wellbeing and reduce negative experiences in the bush.

The main objectives of the Bush Kit are to:

  1. increase the ability of Cree land users' program are to handle health care in the bush
  2. to enhance their own primary responsibility for health matters

Partnership with Cree Trappers' Assocation (CTA)

CTA facilitates the communication between the community members and the land users in the bush. They also help the communication between the bush and the CMC in case of need, and help in the logistics of any medical evacuations.
