Waswanipi (population 2000) is the most southern Cree community, located near Highway 113 about 90 km west of Chibougamau.
Holiday Hours: Waswanipi CMC and MSDC will be closed except for emergencies December 24, 25 and 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016.
Monday to Thursday 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm Friday9am to 12pm and 3pm to 5pm
The following services are available at Waswanipi: Walk-in Clinic, Awash (baby & child), Uschiniichisuu (youth), Chishaayiyuu (elders), Dental clinic, Blood tests, Pharmacy, Nutritionist, Social services, and Multi-services day centre (MSDC).
