| Abstract | The purpose of this prospective cohort study was to assess weight, blood sugar and activity levels among aboriginal Canadians with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) after a three-month return to a hunting and trapping lifestyle. We studied 51 of the 100 adults with diagnosed NIDDM in a Cree community of northern Quebec. |
